Stairs need their own installation plan. We assess the shape, existing finish and matching pieces, then explain the scope for a fitted result that connects to your main floor.
A THOUGHTFUL INSTALLATION
Measure each part of the staircase.
Treads, risers, landings and turns affect the work. A straight run and a winding staircase are different projects, even if they have the same number of steps.
Select the matching pieces early.
Nosing profiles and tread products need to work with the flooring and the stair geometry. We discuss available matching components before the material order is finalised.
Be clear about the per-step price.
The starting labour rate does not include every possible stair condition. Removal, materials, risers, landings and structural repairs are reviewed separately and listed in the written scope.
Can the nosings be replaced on their own?
Possibly, depending on the current staircase and the available components. Send photos and the flooring details so we can assess whether a standalone replacement is appropriate.
