A THOUGHTFUL INSTALLATION

Choose for the room, not just the colour.

Click-lock and glue-down vinyl use different installation methods. We discuss the room’s use, the product instructions and the existing surface before agreeing on the approach. Water-resistance and wear claims depend on the specific product and its warranty.

The surface underneath matters.

We assess the exposed subfloor for preparation needs. Flatness, moisture conditions and underlayment compatibility are checked against the flooring instructions. A product with an attached pad may not allow an additional underlayment.

Finish the edges thoughtfully.

Doorways, transitions and perimeter gaps need a plan before boards are laid. We identify baseboard and transition work in the quote so the finished floor connects properly to the rest of your home.

Does waterproof vinyl make the whole floor waterproof?

A product’s water-resistance claim does not replace moisture assessment or resolve an existing leak. Check the exact product warranty and installation conditions. We discuss the floor assembly and preparation separately from the plank itself.
